Surgeon-General Henderson's term as Director of tho New Zealand Military Services, which terminates next month, has been extended. He will now remain in the Dominion till the end of tho war. Commenting on tho arrangement, the Minister for Defence stated tliat Sur-geon-General Henderson had done his work exceedingly well. It had been a source of great satisfaction that such an experienced officer was available. His wu- s, difficult job, and he had car* ried out 'his duties very successfully.
