BRITISH SECURITY TO MEET ALL DEMANDS. New York, August 22. Tlie London correspondent of the New York Times state.? that* the response British security holders are making to Mr. M'Kenna's appeal for collateral aid will be highly satisfactory, as much more than three hundred millions have been depositecP with the Treasury. It is calculated that the total value of the specified securities in the hands of British investors is three billion dollars, assuring ample collateral for further loans.
