A great Home Rule demonstration, including ex-Premier Scaddnn and a numbei of ex-Ministers, carried resolutions .sympathising with the deplorable condition of Ireland, owing to the suspension oi the Ho,me Rule Act, and requesting the British Government to extend clemency to the Sinn Feiners, also urging relaxation of the censorship .of news concerning Irish affairs.
