tJRENUI. (From a Correspondent). The fourth meeting of the W.C.T.U. was held on Wednesday afternoon, August 10, at Mrs. Rowe's residence (Ngatiawa House). Some members were unable to attend owing to sickness. The chair was taken by the president (Miss Gaustad). The president proposed that the Union should hold a meeting for the Maori women, and invite the Maori Missioner to address them, The Union decided to leave it to the president to organise. It was reported that we have ten little ones on the White Ribbon Cradle Roll, which was considered very good. Business in connection with the L.T.L, was also discussed. It was decided to held the next meeting at Mrs. Graham's, Onacro. The singing of the Doxology and the giving of the Benediction brought the meeting to a close, after which tea and refreshments were kindly provided by Mrs. Rowe.
