ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of the Manutahi Dairy Company was held on Wednesday. The report stated that suppliers had already received for the season just closed payments at the rate of Is 6d per lb. for butter-fat, and after providing for depreciation the balance to credit of appropriation account, £3557 18s 7d, a further payment of 2d per lb. butterfat over the whole season would be made, absorbing the sum of £2970 17s Gd. This would bring the total payment for the season up to Is 8d per lb. butter-fat, including tho Jd per lb. donated to the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, leaving a balance of £587 Is Id. which amount was to be held back in the meantime to coyer any deficiency in the estimated, surplus. Should the suppliers realise the amount estimated this amount would be distributed amongst the shareholders as a further bonus of Jd per lb. butter-fat, thus bringing the total payment up to Is Bid per lb. over the whole season. The following, is a summary of the statistics for the season 1913-14, 191415 and 1915-1G:

Mr. J. R. Taylor was re-elected to the board, and Mr. G. H. Playle was elected in place of Mr. L. M. Hamilton, who retired in consequence jf enlisting.
