ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
KILLED ON THE RAILWAY, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Ashburton,,Yesterday, John Sufiield, aged 70, when crossing the railway line near the station at I'.SO this morningwas struck by a shunting engine and killed instantly. He was very deaf and apparently did no' hear the engine coming, Christchurch, Yesterday, W. Paterson, who was found lying on the railway line near Belfast injured on Sunday mornirig died' in hospital today. - He worked at Belfast as a carpenter.
