"THE LAMB"—TO-NIGHT A SOUL-INSPIRING GRIFFITHTRIANGLE PICTURE.. THE FILM THAT TOOK NEW YORK BY STORM. An absorbing drama, entitled, "The Lamb," is the principal attraction at the Empire this evening, and is produced by Mr. D. W. Griffiths, which io picture patrons is a guarantee of excellence. ''The Lamb" is a page from the book of life. It tells the story of a man who, though lit seemed to be a coward, turned out to be a. ihero. Proceeding to the West to live down bis reputation of being a coward, the man and his fiancee are surrounded by a horde of savage Sioux. Gerald Harrison, although his knees knock together and his teetli chatter with fear, .sticks nut and fights like a tiger till the danger is over and he comes into liis own again. "The Lamb," as portrayed by Douglas Fairbanks, is admirably handled, and Miss Seena Owens, the beautiful and charming actress, ably supports him. It is due to her acting that the method of the play is:"lifted out of tho ordinary sphere of picture(loin. The incidents of the play are many and varied, ftnd this absorbing picture carries the hall-mark of the Triangle iieries. There are two other, films of merit, namely, "The Gaumont Graphic" ;md "Historic Oxford. 1 ' "The Lamb" will only be screened to-night and at all sessions to-morrow. Seats for any performance can be reserved at Collar's.
