SHOCKING REVELATIONS. Australian-N.J!. Cable Association. Received August 16, 5,5 p.m. New York, August 16. Astounding statements were mad®, to District Attorney Smith, wko is engaged in an investigation of the vice trust. It was declared that the trust had a house in East "22nd Street where partly disrobed girls were sold to the highest 'bidder. In gome cases the girls were weighed and the buyei'9 paid a dollar per pound. Other confessions relate to amazing and revolting practices. The trust had highly paid representatives in many of the Eastern American cities.
