•NEW ZEALANDERS IN FRANCE. Dunedin, August 16. The Hon. J. Allen stated that New Zealand has a full division in the field, numbering over '20,000 men. We occupy the Ypres salient. The division was formerly under the command of General Bird wood, but General Godlcv, the commander of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, is now commanding the Anzac Army Corps, including the New Zealanders and a portion of the Australians. The New Zealand 'Division is under the command of General Sir A. H. Russell. General Birdwood has taken over a new command.
