' A Russian communique says: We captured some positions in Persia northward of Sakkiz The Turkish offensive northward jf Hamadan continues. Our armored cars have inflicted great losses. Mr. Chamberlain, replying to Sir E. Carson, said that transport difficulties ■ in Mesopotamia could not be overcome for some time yet, but transport was improving and everything possible wa3 being done regarding medical arrangements.
