REPORTED SINKING OF GERMAN FRAUD „ Kew York, August 11. The British steamship Normandier reports rescuing 21) o.f the erew of the Italian steamship Angelo, sunk by a submarine in tin; Mediterranean, and landing them at Algiers. The Normandier also reported sinking, by means unknown. :i two-towered Herman submarine in the .Mediterranean. GERMAN CONVOY ATTACKED. A STEAMER TORPEDOED Received August 13, 8.10 p.m. Copenhagen, August 12. The Dagens Nyheter states that a submarine attacked twelve German merchantmen, convoyed by a warship, and torpedoed one steamer. RUSSIAN APOLOGY TO SWEDEN. Received August 13,;8.10 p.m. Copenhagen, August 12. Russia has apologised to Sweden for torpedoing the German steamer Cyria whilst in Swedish waters, and also dismissed the submarine commander responsible for the breach of neutrality. GLASGOW STEAMER ATTACKED. London, August 11, A submarine shelled and, it is believed, sunk the Glasgow steamer San Bernardo, in the North Sea. The erew escaped in the boats and were picked up. A GERMAN' CLAIM. London, August 11. 'A German communique states that a squadron of eeaplanes successfully bombarded enemy monitors and other light vessels off the Flemish coast. GERMAN FLEET ON THE MOV S. Received August 13, 5.5 p.m. Copenhagen, August 12. Newspapers state that a German fleet, comprising dreadnoughts, cruisers, destroyers and submarines left the Kiel Canal, steaming a little their highest speed. NEWS OF THE BREMEN. Received August 12, 5.35 p.m. Norfolk, Virginia, August 12. It is reported that the Bremen is outside the Cape, and is expected to arrive oo Saturday.
