The excuse offered for the precipitancy cannot but be regarded as unparalleled. Under the circumstances he asks that Mr. Gerard be requested to obtain a copy of the finding of the court-martial, a 'statement as to the manner in which the court was constituted, and details of the defence, also to furnish the names of the persons composing the court martial and witnesses. AUSTRIAN SUBMARINE SUNK. Received August 10, 8.5 p.m. Athens, August 10. A French destroyer torpedoed and sank an Austrian submarine off Corfu.
