INGLEWOOD.
(From Our Own Correspondent). The following men have enlisted and go into camp at an early date: —Messrs M. W. Paterson, \V. 3. Taylor. H. T. Hiclrson, Herb. Clougli, M. Crean, R. McGonaglc. .]. P. Hodges, Erie Julian, F. Hodges, B. Old. R. J. Kidd, A. 'P. Kidd and F. J. Misehefski. At the Magistrate's Court on Friday, before Mr. A. Crooke, S.M., the following claims were dealt with:—Mrs. Officer v. Arthur Nelson, and same v. Frank Collins, for £22 Its Ud damages in each ease, for trespassing tin plaintiff's property with dog and gnu, and geneial damages to stock. Judgment was given for plaintiff for £l. and costs (is. J. W. Harding v. C. Smith, for £3, value of dog supposed to have been destroyed bv defendant. Plaintiff was non-suited, with costs His 4d. .7. W. ffenwcod v. P. "erge: A judgment order was made for payment of £l7 3s lOd by instalments of 3s per week. In the case of .Mrs. Curtis v. T. Clark, defendant mas ordered to pay £l4 Ids by the 11th inst., in default \!> days in New Plymouth gaol. .1. McN. Adams, for driving at night without lights, was fined us and cost's 7s. \V. J. Simons, for riding a motor-cycle at night without lights, was lined IDs and costs 7s.
