FURTHER RESOLUTIONS.

Wellington, Yesterday. At the conference of the Federation of Patriotic War Relief Societies to-day resolutions were passed recommending that the rate of pay to members of the Expeditionary Force be as per day for the first month, instead of 4s; that a messing allowance be paid to all returned men while awaiting a medical board after discharge from hospital, and that there be an altogether more liberal interpretations of the conditions under which the allowance may be paid; that the Prime Minister be approached to secure legislation establishing a moratorium, so as to give protection to soldiers in respect of property owned by them upon which money is owing,, unless a judge otherwise directs, and that the, protection granted by the British Government be taken as a basis for Xew Zealand.
