COMPLETE CHANGE AGAIN TONIGHT. THRILLING SECRET SERVICE DRAMA. "THE WOMAN IN THE BOX." The principal attraction on the now programme to-night is a thrilling dramatic story entitled 'The Woman in the Box," showing how a United States Secret Service man secures startling evidence from the wife of a War Minister. Milton Asheton of the U.S.S. Secret Service is sent to Mexico to discover if that country is really leasing an island in the Pacific to a foreign country, whose attitude is belligerent to- ! ward* the United States. The attraction proves mutual and he takes her to supper, after which she leaves him abruptly and returns home alone. She is an American born woman, and having found among her husband's papers the document relating to the leasing of the '■. land and proving lie is a traitor, she shows Milton a copy of it. Her husband's brutality towards her has become unbearable and she determines to thwart his traitorous plan against the land of her birth. They are' seen talking together by the husband, who insults Milton and is knocked down. They arrange for a duel, but the husband is assassinated Ly a rival political faction a few hours later, and after securing the tell talc document and delivering it to Washington, Milton returns to Mexico City am! v.cos nrul wins the late secretary's widow for his wife. There is a fine supporting programme including "The Water Fowl at Home" (Pathc bird study). 'The Valley of the River Bourne'' and a Topical Gazette.
