A communique states: Three thousand prisoners won- taken at the junction of the Styr and Lipa. General SakharolT's troop 3 were subjected to a concentrated bombardment while crossing thorn marshes in the Lipa valley, but crossed the river and routed ithe enemy, pouring a deadly lire on the fleeing columns. We took a thousand prisoners, and several guns.
