1 • .«■ ■/■■■ ' PURNED TO DEATH. Dune-din, July 21. Upon returning to his home at Ravensborne at 0.50 last night from Port Chalmers, Geo. Anderson, carpenter, found his house locked up ami, cm effectin-* an entrance, discovered his wife, Tliomasina Anderson, awed 30, lying in the pa-sago apparently having been burned to death. The fire from her burning garments had burned through the oilcloth and also through the board, an inch thicli. where she lay. It is believed the fatality was the result of mental illness. Bank books and gold articles ware found burnt in the fireplace.
