RUSSIAN TORPEDOERS AT WORK. 26 SAILERS DESTROYED. Received July 17, 8.30 p.m. London, July 17. A Russian communique states: One of our torpedoers destroyed twenty-six sailing vessels in the Black Sea. A DESTROYER SUNK, Rome, July 16. An Austrian submarine torpedoed the destroyer Impetuoso. The majority of the crew were saved. LANDING OF VICTIMS. London, July 16. Eleven survivors of the three sunken trawlers have landed at Aberdeen. GERMAN INACCURACY. London, July 16. The Admiralty denies the German offi-' cial wireless message claiming that they sank a large British auxiliary cruiser in the North Sea. Regarding the further
German claim that they sank three armed British guard ships, taking the crews prisoner, the Admiralty describes these as armed trawlers. EXPLOIT OF TURKISH SUBMARINES. London, July IC. A Turkish communique states that submarines sank three large Russian transports and forced another ashore.
