WELLINGTON MEETING. CONCLUDING DAY'S 'RESULTS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The concluding day of the Wellington races drew a large attendance. The investments were £19,283, making £l2 J,. 34!) for the meeting, compared with £7.5,318 for the two days of two years ago. There was good weather and the racing interesting. Results:— TALAVERA HURDLES.—7 Patronymic 1, 10 Austin 2, 5 Sir Solo 3. Scratched: Arlington, Nicomar. Austin led during most of the journey and displaced Patronymic in the straight, and won by a length and a half, Sir Solo half ii length awav third. Time 2min. 56sec. ONSLOW HANDICAP. —1 Risogne 1, (i Cherry Blossom 2, 3 Mandoline 3. All started. Bisogne early took command and won with ease by four lengths, half a length separating second and third. Time, lmin 3.2-ssec. HUNTERS' STEEPLECHASE—.I Kirkby 1, 2 Darby Paul 2, 9 Critic 3. All started. Queen's Post was favorite. Critic, Kirkby and Darby Paul were prominent during most of the distance. .Expedition and Rerekolm fell. Won with reserve, half a length between second and third. Time, 5.F)3 2-5. CROFTON HANDICAP.—4 Sir Agnes 1, 1 Kukri 2, 8 Coral King 3. Scratched: Otara, Melord, Ballyhar. Kukri was a hot favorite. Sir Agnes was in place all the way and won by two lengths, six lengths between second and third. Time, 1.35.
JULY STEEPLECHASE.—4 Vascular 1, 2 Wirokino 2, 1 New York 3. Scratched: Darby Paul. A good race. New Y«rk was favorite. Wirokino was well to the front during most of the journey, but was caught at the hencoop by Vascular and New York. The former won by a length, second and third also being separated by a length. Time, G. 19 3-5, WINTER OATS—4 Ringform 1, 9 Comely 2, 2 George 3. Scratched: Multifual, Bisogne. Seddel Balir was most in demand. A good finish. Ringform came through near heme and won by three-quarters of a length, two lengths being between second and third. Time, 1.48 3-5. FINAL HURDLES.—4 Crib 1, 1 Pursefiller 2, 9 Leonta 3. Scratched: Crown Pearl. Crib followed Pursefiller into the straight and won by a length, the same distance between second and third. Time, 3.21. KIA ORA HANDICAP.—I 3 Told 1, 3 Golden Glade 2, 1 Perrier 3. Scratched: Foeman, Ally, and Helsingfora. A record betting race for the course. Bomb and Martyress were first away. Told won by two lengths and a half, a length between second and third. Time, 1.5.
