the cadet competition Waitara Cadets met New Plymouth Technical College, on the Recreation Grounds, yesterday afternoon, and after a close and interesting contest the match resulted in a draw, each side scoring three points, a penalty goal, kicked in the first spell. Oliver, for Technical College, was the first to score, hut a little later, Skelton. with a magnificent kick from nearly half-way, equalised the scores. Mr. Kirk was referee. At the Racecourse, New Plymouth Cadets defeated High School P. )>v 12 points to nil. In the first spell Bridget' and Arden scored tries, neither hei„g converted. In the second spell Bridgcr and Climo scored trips, the attempts to convert proving resultless. Mr. Searlc was referee.
