ALLEN DOONE. A good li'iusn greeted Jn's talented company's i\> appearance in the Theatre Royal Inst nijrlit. Allen Doone's visits hav? always been looked forward to by lu'-ai thcalrc i.-oers and last night's performance will be another cherished memory of Ins long list of plavs. Mr Boone -taged the delightfully Irish piece "Molly Dawn," which is brimful of droll situations and a "nrprising amount of humor. These two characteristics, excellent music, capital acting, and good stage effects.went to make a capital evening. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the production, and Mr Dooiie, the heart end soul of Irishism, was at his best. He received rn ovation with his singing of "Here's a Toast to Krin," and* sang "Tl c Wearin' o' the Green," in response 'o an emphatic call from the audience. In nis impel sonification of the Irish patriot, Robert Giunmctt. he stirred all hearts, especially of the Irish. He was r.bly siifport.-d by his company, chief of whom was Miss Edna Keely as "Molly Bawn." and Miss Bash ford as "Mereia Amherst" ?.Ir. Frank Cullenane liad'a rli'f-eult part, in Lord Amiiert, but he managed it *o perfection. Allen Doone's visit hero in twelve months' time will be welcomed.
