Stratford, if rumor is.to be believed, will very shortly possess two up-to-date picture palaces. A syndicate lias purchased Madame Bernard's rights and interests in Hi* Majesty's Theatre, and intend erecting a ferro-concrete building on a section nearer the business portion of Broadway, while another syndicate has purchased a valuable property right in the heart of Broadway, where Mr. Mills' stationer's shop and the vacant shop next door stand. It is the intention of this syndicate to build a ferroconcrete picture palace. Stratford residents, therefore, will have plenty of opportunity to pass away their evenings.
