AIR REPRISALS. THE GERMAN WHINE AND THE FRENCH REPLY. Paris, June 29 Official: The Germans are announcing to the whole world the terrible effect? of the bombardment of Karlsruhe, anil denounce the villainy o£ the bombardment. It is desirable to recall that this was ordered as a reprisal for the bombardments of the open towns of Bar le 'Due and Luneville, which cost the lives of numerous inoffensive citizens. The Germans have also bombarded Amiens. Bethune and many other towns fh-e or six times within the last three months. \Ve abstained from the bombardment of towns behind the German lines, but that abstention suffered to show the world the degree of our patience. It is impossible to allow the enemy, without scruple, to continue multiplying his attacks, with the assurance of immunity. For the future our conduct will he regulated by our adversaries. They will suffer from such reprisals as they force us to take."
