INGLEWOOD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Tnglewood, Yesterday. The Ladies' Patriotic Committee arranged a Sailors' Day for Saturday last, and the response was most liberal. Seven young ladies were on duty all day, and I am safe in saying that not a single visitor to town escaped a request for something for the box. Following are. particulars of amount collected by each canvasser: Miss Esse £4 10s lOd, Misses Hnmerton and Evans U 5s 3d, Miss D. Brown £3 12s lid, Miss Winfield £3 12s 7d, Miss F. Nut-, ting £3 12s Id, Miss K. Horner £1 3s Id; total £2O l«s Od. Mrs. J. Sutherland, of the Red Cross Committee, represented the Society with the young ladies. The Farmers' Co-op, have a very large entry for their first sale, which takes place on Wednesday. A very successful initial sale is expected, and clients are to be treated to free lunchcon. The following have enlisted and go into camp at an early date: Messrs. ,T. K. Cragreth, .T. C. Dunwoodie. T. Molloy, K. F, Price, and S. Wallace.
