A BETTER OUTLOOK. NATIONALISTS HAVE CONFIDENCE IN THEIR LEADERS. Received June 19, 6.20 p.m. London, June 1!). The Nationalists and representatives of the six Ulster counties will discuss Mr Lloyd George's proposals on Friday. At a meeting at Belfast Nationalists passed a resolution of confidence in Mr. Redmond, and the Irish Party imvo also pledged themselves t» sta-nd by -Mr. Devlin in any course that he deemed was advisable to settle the Irish question. It was further thought that Mr. Lloyd George's proposals afforded a basis for provisional settlement.
ANOTHER DUBLIN MELEE. A REPUBLICAN PROCESSION. NOT MUCH DAMAGE DONE. Received June 19, 8.15 p.m. London, June 19. Another disturbance has taken place at Dublin. Two thousand men, carrying the Republican flag, passed in procession through the principal streets from the church where a Requiem Mass for the dead rebels had been held. • The procession cheered for the Irish Republic, and groaned at the sentries at Dublin Castle and at the Bank of Ireland. The police intercepted the mob in Westmoreland Street, and endeavoured to seize the flags. The processionists resented this, fnd a melee occurred,' wherein a constable's ear was split, and other policemen were roughly handled. The police retained a number of the flags, and arrested six of the processionists. The remainder continued to Sackville Street, and halted at the Post Office, cheering. They afterwards dispersed in Bolton Street.
