AUSTRIAN OFFENSIVE CONTINUES. Rome, June 18. A communiquo says: —The continu- > ance of severe fighting at Asiago indicates that the Austrian are stubbornly persisting in their original offensive. Events on the east front have not materially affected the Austrian activity in the Trentino. They have not withdrawn troops and it will be more difficult later in view of our counter-offen-sive. We dispersed advance posts between the Adige and the Astico. The enemy violently attempted to break through between Mounts Le Merle and Magna Bosch i, bilt were driven back. We made further progress in the Sugana valley. (CABINET'S MOP.E VIGOROUS POLICY •Rome, June 18. A Royal decrie sanctions further war eitienditure of 400 million lire. The new Cabinet, with Signor Noselli as Premier, Baron Sonnino as Minister for Foreign Affairs, and Signor Nissolati as Political Commissioner for War Services,. represents a continuity of . policy .with more vigorous prosecution of the war.. Sifenor Arlotta assumes the new Ministry of Railways and Mercantile Marine, and Signor Denava the new Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
