Mails will close at the Chief Post Office, New Plymouth, as follows: For Wellington and intermediate stations, daily at 6.15 a.m. and 12.20 p.m. For Wanganui and intermediate stations, daily, at 6.15 a.m., 12.20 p.m., and 3.40 p.m. For Auckland and North, per Rarawa, Tuesday and Friday, at 7 p.m.

For Australian States, South Africa, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Aden, Egypt, Eastern and Mediterranean ports, also United Kingdom and Continent of Europe (for speciallyaddressed correspondence, ''via Suez," only), at 12.20 p.m. Dne'London August 2. (Money orders close 11 a.m.) For United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, West Indies, Central and South America, United .Strifes of America and Canada, via San Francisco; also Tahiti, Penrhyn Island, Rarotonga and all Cook Islands (except Mangaia), per s.s.
