HOCKEY.
The hockey season was started on Saturday ,by the Whakatika A.' v. High School B, on the Xew Plymouth racecourse. The Whakatika team won by 13 goal?, to nil, six goals being scored by Miss M. Mevall, while Miss C. Penn added three, Miss M. Moore scoring the balance. For the High School, the outside right and centre forward were extremely good.
