In support of the Red Cross and jther funds the Maharajah of Rikinnr gave 2>/ ; lakhs of rupees as a King's Birthday gift, to be devoted td sucli object as Ins Majesty decides. Calcutta citizens are raising £IO,OOO to maintain fifty motor ambulances in France. The production of munitions increases weekly. The entire native press deplores the loss of Earl Kitchener. There will be special memorial services throughout India or June 13.
