THE AMERICAN TORNADO.
MANY DEATHS AND MUCH DAMAGE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Kansas City, June 7. The death toll in the storm-swept sections of Arkansas, Missouri, Mississippi and Illinois has reached a total of 120 deaths. A number of persons are unaccounted for, and there are a hundred injured, many of whom will die. Accurate estimates of the damage to property are imposible, but this will run to a hundred thousand. Reports are meagre, owing to dislocation of communication.
