WAITARA.

(From Our Own Correspondent). The Waitara Senior Cadets are giving a long-night danee in the Clifton- Hall on Monday evening next in aid of the Wounded Soldiers' Fund, and are hoping they will receive the whole-hearted support of the public. The lads, who have formed a strong committee and are doing everything possible to make the danee a success, are deserving of very great credit for the spirit shown by them to help their elder "brothers" in the firing line. The best musical talent is being obtained, and Mr. Eggleton will act as M.C. If the evening is as successful as anticipated, the cadets will be giving a series of dances throughout the winter in aid of the fund.

Messrs M. Cain, T. Ormsby and YV. .T Jones are the latest enlistments with Mr. J. Kempsall, lion, recruiting officer.
