VIOLENT FIGHTING IN THE EAST CAPTURES OF ITALIANS. Received June 7, !) p.m. Amsterdam, .Tune 7. A Vienna communique says that on the north-eastern sector there is violent fighting on almost the whole 220 miles front. Our first line north of Oki lias been flattened. We withdrew three miles southward, and repulsed several attacks in the lower Strypa region. We have captured since June 1, 134 Italian officers, 9700 men, 13 machineguns, and a field guns.
