SURPLUS OF ME>f. (Government Memorandum.) Wellington, May 31. The Hon. W. V. There was existing at the date of Friday last a shortage on previous drafts of 120, and a shortage arising out of wastage in camp of 121, or a total of 241. It will therefore be seen that the total Dominion shortage under all heads at the date, of Friday last, the 20th inst., was 77. i WELLINGTON DISTRICT SHORT. The local Defence.
