Athena reports that there is indignation at the submarine attacks on Greek steamers. fifteen have been sunk, totalling 40,000 tons. The seizure of the Austro-German steamers lying in Greek ports is urged if there is no indemnity offered. ITALIAN PORT VISITED. BY AUSTRIAN SUBMARINE. Received May 29, 855 p.m. London, May 29. Lloyds report that an Austrian submarine entered the harbour of Civita Vecchia, at J shelled the steel works, with slight damage. It also shelled • mi sank a coal steamer, killing a sailor. [Civita Vecchia is a fortified seaport and bathing-place 50 miles, n.w., by rail from Rome, whose seaport it is. Its population is about 30,000.] ZEPPELIN LOST AT SEA. BODIES AND WRECKAGE WASHED ASHORE. Reeeived May 29, 8.45 p.m. Copenhagen, May 29. The bodies of ft officer and a man, belonging to a Zeppelin, have been washed ashore at Esbjerg, and also some wreckage, suggesting that a Zeppelin as been destroyed at sea. [Esbjerg, is a seaport (pop. 20,000), on the west coast of Denmark, and is one of the greatest exporting centres of the country.] A CHRISTIAN (?) BISHOP. ENGLAND'S INSULARITY GONE. FOR EVER! 'Copenhagen, May 28. Bishop. Kaftan, of Kiel, in an extraordinary article in the Schle3wig Sunday Journal, supporting the Germans, says: - "Thank God for his merciful support in allowing submarines to torpedo American vessels carrying supplies to our enemies," The Bishop also says: "It is true that such submarines are barbaric, but England drives the Germans thereto. Thank God England's insularity is gone for ever. May a hundred Zeppelins raid her!" ITALIAN VESSELS SUNK. London, May 28. The Italian steamer Mania has 'been torpedoed in the Mediterranean. The Italian vessel Rita has also been sunk. ALIEN SEA CAPTAINS. London, May 28. Owing to the leakage of secret instructions the Admiralty has forbidden aliens, whether they are naturalised or wt, to command British steamers, , GERMAN MINES ADRIFT. Copenhagen, May 28.
