INGLEWOOD.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) Inglewood, Yesterday. The Farmer.*' Organisation Society's snleyards are now well under way, and are a credit to tlnsc responsible for their construction. J lie ground . plan covers en area of 180 ft by !)oft, and the whole of the flooring is' concreted, while all the posts are of fcrro-conerete. At the eastern and western ends there are receiving pens, and each of these is subdivided in two which will render drafting a very easy matter. There arc two rows of pens, varying in size, and between thein the flooring is well channeled, which will enable the yards to be kept in a perfect state of cleanliness with very little labor. At the eastern end of the cattle yards, pig pens, are to be erected, and. at the southern side sheep pens and'drafting yards, with concrete races. ]n the yards proper the shed for selling dairy stock is well under way. It is » commodious building, .10ft by lflft, and h also of ferro-concrete. Fractieilly all the timber used'in the construction is Jarrah. The whole undertaking, is a credit to the Farmers' Society, which is deserving of congratulation on its enterprise. The local business people have decided to observe Monday. The Sunflower 'Entertainers are giving a concert in Inglewood on the 2th dune, in aid of the Wounded Soldiers' Fund.
