GUN-RUNNING IN ULSTER. RELEASING THE REBELS. Received May 25, 5.5 p.m. London, May 24. In t'lie House of Commons, Mr. Asquith admitted that German' guns imported by the Ulster Volunteers in 1914 still remained in private possession, lie was aware that it was officially stated that gun-running was a contributory cause to the rebellion. Mr. R. L. Outhwaite sought the immediate release of the reibels, in view oi the fact that the gun-ruimers liad never been prosecuted. Mr. Asquith said that steps were being taken to immediately release all those who were innocent, and this was proceeding at the rate of 150 daily.

THE VICEROYALTY. DEMAND FOR ABOLITION, Received May 26, 1.30 a.m. London, May 25. Lord Rosebery demands the abolition of the Vieeroyalty of Ireland, which he considers is a useless and costly sinecure.

A LEADER FOUND GUILTY. Received May 25, 10 p.m. London, May 25. A court-martial found John McNeil, president of the Sinn Fein Volunteers, guilty of complicity in the Dublin rising. Sentence was postponed.

RIDICULOUS LENIENCY. Received May 25, 10 p.m. 'London, May 25. White (Son of General Sir George White, defender of Ladysmith) was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. The prosecution stated that White had trained Lar.kin's citizen army in Dublin, and later incorporated the Sinn Feiners. White was largely associated with Sir Roger Casement, Countess Markievocz, Connolly, and IPlunkett, and urged the miners to strike so as to compel the Government to deal leniently with the rebels. ARREST OF PILOTS. London, May 21. Two Tralee Bay pilots have been arrested under suspicion of helping Sir Roger Casement.
