A court-martial found Sergeant [Prosper, a territorial, not guilty of striking Lieut. , Lennon, and the prisoner was discharged. * SLY-GROGGERS PUNISHED. Taumarunni, Yesterday. At the Magistrate's Court to-day, before Mr. Hewitt, S.M., W. Wellmott was fined £SO for keeping liquor for sale; James Conway was fined £SO for the same offence, and £lO for taking, liquor to Okalmkura, labelled as "crockery." Thomas Bm-rey was fined for keeping liquor for sale at Taumarunui, and Robert Forrest, a youth of 19, was fined £5 for introducing liquor to the Maori Kainga at Ongarue.
