Received May 22, 10.40 p.m. Capetown, May 22. fPrinshoo, a former Boer general, giving evidence before the Rebellion Commission, said he met Christian De Wet and Hertzog at his farm,in the Harrismith district. He endeavored to dissuade De Wet from rising against the Government. De Wet replied that England was already overcome by Germany, and the time was ripe to hoist the Vierkleur.
