"SMUGGLED" CATTLE. FROM RUMANIA AND HOLLAND. Bucharest, May la. Smuggling, amounting to 100,000 head p[ cattle/to Austria-Hungary during the winter has caused a public outcry. The Rumanian Government has opened a strict inquiry, though it is improbable that all the culprits will be brought to book. Rotterdam, May 15. Great droves of cattle are constantly going from Holland towards Germany. Two thousand milch cows crossed the frontier yesterday. ROADS CHOKED UP Received May K, O.r>o p.m. Rotterdam, May 15. The country roads Me choked with cattle, due to the removal of the prohibition of their export. Germany has bought 32,000 head, paying enormously for them.
