TERRIBLE QUARRY EXPLOSION. AT OHAKUNE. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. The secretary of the General Post Office to-night received a telegram from ,thi> postmaster at Ohakune, stating that an explosion had occurred in the Public Works quarry' at Ohakune, resulting in six juen being killed and two others being injured. The names of the dead are: Melsopp, Lurking, Davies, MoGarry, Ton-ens, and McKay (?McCall). Tht injured are Shcehy and Morgan. There are lio further details at present.
