BOWLING.

F.ITZSOY SEASON CLOSER The last game of the season on the Pitzroy green took place yesterday, two rinks being occupied, and an enjoyable afternoon spent, though the green' was heavy, and the wind militated against good play. The club lias had an exceptionally long season, having started play some weeks before the other town clubs, the consequence being that though the turf has stood the strain well, yei it requires considerable attention, a start having already been made with the work. The prizes won during the season were not presented yesterday, this ceremony being postponed until the annual meeting next month. There will be a working bee on the ground next Thursday when all members who can do so are asked to render assistance.
