TARANAKI'S NEXT QUOTA. NON-COMMISSIONED OFFICERS SELECTED. The next quota from Taranaki—the 17th Reinforcements—will leave for Trentham by the mail train on Monday, 29th in-st. The draft comprises 123 men •for the infantry branch only, and headquarters, Hawera, reported yesterday that there aTe nearly a hundred men fit and available now, and no difficulty is anticipated in finding the full quota. The following six non-commissioned officers will leave for camp with this draft:— J. C. Nicholson (New Plymouth). E. Armstrong (New Plymouth). A Chrystal (New *lymouth). H. Fraser (New Plymouth). W. J. Matthews (Inglewood), G. W. D. Rodgers (Cardiff).
