SUPREME COURT.
WELLINGTON-SESSIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Yesterday. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened to-day before, Chief Justice Sir Robert Stout. There were eleven charges against thirteen persons. The judge, in addressing the grand!jury, said the most serious case was one of attempted murder and attempted suicide. If the victim .died as the result of .her inuries within twelve months the charge would be ope,of murder,,-'... ~..■. ..-. ;
Frederick Watson, against whom the jury found a true bill, was found guilty of theft of £8 from a. person. Sentence was deferred.
