THE GRIERSON CASE.
A FOOLISH DEPUTATION. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Friday. Representatives of the Women's AntiGeriuan League waited 011 the Minister for Defence to-day, and urged that Lieut. Grierson should not be allowed to go with the 12th Reinforcements.
Hon. ,Tas. Allen replied that if he complied with the request lie would be doing an injustice to Grin-son, and lie was not prepared to do an injustice to the man.
The League has now decided to send a petition to the King, through the Governor, to remove Grierson from the army.
