ATtMED LINER ATTACKED. .SINKS A SUBMARINE* Received May 8, 6.5 p.m. London, May 5. The Clan MacFadyen encountered two submarines in the Bay of Biscay. The first fired sixty shells at a range of fifty yards, hitting the Clan Macfadyen several times, tut not seriously. The liner was armed with a big gun, and replied.'
