There remains one list yet to come in—that of Upper Petone road, but considering the diminutive dimensions of our district, this list is very creditable. Those who contribute stock, etc., are to see them lafel.y at Mr. King's Okato saleyards on Thursday, 4th. inst. Those who have not yet paid cash donations will kindly forward same to Mrs. Moss, who is our secretary and treasurer.
KAPOXGA. (From Our Own Correspondent). The united service held in the Town Hall on Anzac Day was largely attended, the Revs. Stent, Blair and Culliford officiating. The service, which, was most impressive, consisted of:—National Anthem; prayer. Rev. Culliford; hymn, "0 God of Bethel"; Psalm 40, Rev. Stent; hymn, "0 Cod, our help in ages past"; address, Rev. Blair; hymn, "For all the saints who from their labors rest"; Benediction. fho Band, previous to the service, paraded the town and played the "Dead March," and subsequently played the accompaniments foi the hymns. The collection amounted to about £lO. The Band social held in the. Town Hall on Thursday night was fairly well attended, a most enjoyable evening being spent.'
