GERMAN OFFICERS SHOT. DISSATISFACTION SPREADING. (Times and Sydney Sun Services.)' Received May 2, 5.15 p.m. * London, May 1. The Times' correspondent at Bucharest says that before leaving Trebizond the Turkish officers shot several of their German colleagues. The conviction that Germany brought the present troubles on Turkey is increasing in the army and population, and it is generally recognised that she has little prospect of retaining her inpendence, and that the milder rule of the Allies would foe more tolerable than German tyranny.
