LABOR COUNCIL. : PASSES A PEACE MOTION. Melbourne, April 28. The Labor Council Conference carried a peace motion: ''That Mr. Pearce be approached and urged to send the following message to the working class organisations throughout the world:— 'This conference sends fraternal greetings to the workers of every country and implores them immediately to take action simultaneously to force their respective Governments to openly pronounce their terms of peace and the time for negotiation.'"
