RESULTS OF STATE ENTERPRISES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, April 25. At the Labor League Conference statistics were submitted showing that the capital invested in State undertakings ivas £485,725. Seven yielded a profit of £32,495, while six were run at a loss of £33/222. A resolution was adopted condemning the Postmaster-Genera] for stating that the officers in the various public service associations were self-seekers who made themselves objectionable by .playing to the gallery, and that it was singular how many men moved up when their en- ' thusiastic attitude ceased.
