ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
RAILWAY PORTER INJURED. By Telegraph.—Press ; Association. Wellington, April 23. Harry Chapman,' a railway porter, single, aged 29 years, residing at Ngaio, fell off a train'during shunting operations at Lambton station on Saturday night. His left foot-was badly eruslied and he was admitted to the hospital, where his foot was amputated above the ankle.
